Lew Croome
Lew was born at Longford, Tasmania on 18.03.1911 and he lived at Launceston at the time of his enlistment on 06.06.1940.
He was a Lance Bombardier in 16th Bty at the time of his discharge on 18.12.1944 and according to his mate, Mac Humphries, was one of the best.
