B Troop after El Alamein. Caption in album reads ""B" TROOP AFTER ALAMEIN OFFICERS J.DOYLE TED COWPER J CUFF". I presume the officers are in the 2nd back row. 125mm x 85. (From album belonging to Pam Morton.) Rear of image.
John Leslie Steer TX525 in Hospital, August 1942. A nurse attends him. He was wounded on 10 July that year at El Alamein. Although there is no caption on the photo there is a caption written on the album - "AUG 42 JOHN STEER RECOVERING LOST PART OF L. LEG SEVERAL OPERATIONS TO SAVE R. LEG BECAME M.P. TAS PARLIAMENT VERY POPULAR". The bag beside him has some numbers, the last three digits appear to be 278. (From album belonging to Pam Morton.)
